No, currently SitterSync doesn't provide or verify babysitters. Instead, it's a tool for managing your existing network of trusted sitters. You invite the sitters you already know and trust to join your personal SitterSync network, and we take the hassle out of lining up childcare.
SitterSync is free to download. We charge a nominal $1.00 per job as a fee for the platform, but heck that is 1/3 the cost of a small coffee and will provide a lot more enjoyment and peace of mind.

Payments within SitterSync are now available and securely processed through Stripe. You can easily manage payments for babysitting jobs directly within the app. SitterSync will calculate hours, apply hourly rates, and even capture reimburseable expenses like meals. A Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a pre-tax benefit that allows you to set aside up to $5,000 per household per year to pay for eligible childcare expenses. These funds reduce your taxable income and can be used for babysitting, daycare, summer camps, and after-school programs. Qualified expenses include care for a child under 13 or a dependent adult incapable of self-care. Eligible services range from babysitting (including care from trusted sitters booked through SitterSync), to daycare, preschool, and summer day camps.
